Psychology (A Level)
Sixth Form (Years LVI-UVI), Key Stage 5In A Level Psychology girls will study human behaviour and develop their analytical skills. They will have the opportunity to take part in debates, understand the way the brain works and find explanations for why people behave in a certain way. A feature of the Psychology A Level course is that candidates must be able to demonstrate their knowledge of psychological principles, terminology, concepts, empirical research and psychological methods in relation to the main topic areas. In addition, candidates must develop an ability to question the theoretical and methodological approaches upon which they are based. A Level Psychology covers topics including Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Relationships, Aggression and Schizophrenia.
