Queen Margaret's is a grand Georgian country house set on a stunning estate just six miles outside York. With multiple settings for your wedding, you can truly make the day your own.

• The Wenlock Library

The Wenlock Library is one of the original rooms within the main School building and retains many traditional features such as the ‘hidden’ servant doors and antique Mouseman furniture. With striking panoramic views onto The Terrace and the grounds beyond, it's ideal for a wedding breakfast or reception.

• St Margaret’s Chapel (Centenary Building)

St Margaret's Chapel is a beautiful, modern, airy space that's ideal for your wedding ceremony, reception, or evening party. It's a customisable space that can seat approximately 400 in an assembly style, 120 cabaret-style, or 100 on long tables.

Housed inside the modern Centenary building, you can use the foyer to welcome guests for drinks or canapes.

• The School Grounds

Set on a stunning countryside estate, Queen Margaret's has the space and adaptability to let you make the day your own. With beautiful scenery, it's the ideal backdrop for your day and the perfect location for your wedding photography.

Customise your day - make it your own

Couples are more than welcome to use their own suppliers, or they can consult with the School's Events Team who will happily provide recommendations of reliable local companies for catering, marquee hire, floristry, AV support and more.

On-site accommodation is also available for those travelling from afar, providing a great opportunity for the bridal party to come together the night before and make a weekend of it.
