Customise Your Day
At Queen Margaret’s, we pride ourselves on offering flexibility to ensure that your wedding day reflects your vision. You are welcome to bring in your own suppliers or consult with our Events Team, who are happy to recommend reliable local vendors for catering, floristry, marquee hire, AV support, and more. The Ceremony
We do not have a wedding licence to conduct your legally recognised ceremony, however, we are more than happy to recommend a celebrant for you.
Beautiful wedding spaces
The Wenlock Library
An elegant and historic space ideal for an intimate wedding breakfast or reception. With beautiful architecture, striking panoramic views of the Terrace and the surrounding grounds, the library is perfect for smaller celebrations with a timeless, classical feel.
St Margaret’s Chapel
This modern, airy space is perfect for ceremonies, receptions, or evening parties with beautiful stained-glass windows. St Margaret’s Chapel is highly versatile for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. The adjoining foyer area is ideal for drinks and canapés, offering a seamless flow for your celebration.
The Chapman Theatre
The Chapman Theatre is located next to The Chapel and provides a beautiful theatrical backdrop for any lovers of the arts who would like their ceremony next to their reception venue. There's room for canapés in the foyer afterwards or before your reception in either the St Margaret’s Chapel or within a marquee on our beautiful grounds.
The School Grounds
Queen Margaret’s expansive grounds provide an enchanting backdrop for your wedding day. Whether you prefer a fairy-tale outdoor wedding set in lush gardens or stunning countryside vistas for your wedding photography, our grounds offer plenty of options to create the perfect setting.
Accommodation
For your convenience, Queen Margaret’s offers ample accommodation options, including comfortable lodging for the bridal party and guests in our self-catering Park Gates Cottage that can sleep up to 17. This makes it easy for everyone to come together and enjoy a weekend celebration, with the added peace of mind that everything is located on-site.
Catering
We have a fabulous catering team in-house who have invaluable knowledge of the venues and requirements of our guests. They have the capacity to offer wider bespoke catering experiences including dedicated hospitality teams, live theatre cooking, street food pop-ups, and Michelin experienced chefs & menus.
The on-site Chef Manager is happy to discuss any bespoke requires for your special day and tastings are available.

Our venue is easily accessible, with ample free parking on-site and convenient links to major roads like the A1(M) and A64, making us the perfect location for local, regional, and national events.
