Conference Spaces

The Wenlock Library

Our signature space. A room full of character and highly versatile, the Wenlock Library retains traditional features such as antique Mouseman furniture and hidden bookcase doors. With stunning panoramic views of the terrace and grounds, this space is perfect for conferences, meetings, or smaller gatherings.

Capacity:

  • Up to 96 banquet style
  • Up to 136 theatre style
  • Up to 270 standing

Thompson

With original historic wallpaper and tiered seating, this bright and open space is perfect for presentations and seminars. The retractable seating provides even more flexibility for use as an open space.

Capacity:

  • 52 banquet style
  • 75 theatre style (on retractable fixed seats)
  • 105 standing

The 2022 Room

A modern first-floor space with wonderful natural light from two sides and vibrant decor. Featuring study spaces, communal areas, and a self-contained kitchen unit. Ideal for use as a breakout room

Capacity:

  • 50 on tables and chairs

The Centenary Building

A purpose-built complex featuring a professional theatre, stunning Chapel, Dance Studio, and foyer all under one roof.

The building offers a stunning glass-enclosed space perfect for refreshments, networking, and displays. Modern amenities, including toilets and additional seating, can be arranged to meet your event’s requirements.

The Chapman Theatre

Perfect for larger events, the Chapman Theatre seats up to 220 guests and is fully equipped with professional sound and lighting systems. It's an excellent choice for conferences, presentations or performances. The venue also includes backstage facilities and secure overnight storage for sets, props, costumes and musical instruments.

  • Up to 220 seated in fixed rows.

St Margaret’s Chapel

St Margaret’s Chapel is a beautiful and adaptable space, suitable for a wide range of events — from wedding receptions to conferences, exhibitions or networking occasions. The layout can be tailored to suit your needs, with a mezzanine level providing additional seating and enhanced flexibility.

Capacity:

  • 400 theatre style
  • 160 banquet style

Thank you for this weekend, it was a huge success and I know from all the messages in our group, everyone is still buzzing from it! It was wonderful to all be together again after all those years and visit places like Red House that we had very early memories from, it really hasn’t changed. We all felt extremely lucky to have had those experiences and to have forged such great and long-lasting friendships.

You did a fabulous job of putting all our requests together and the library looked fabulous, what a stunning room to do events in!
