Last week both the LVI and UVI Leiths groups came together for an evening of wine and food pairing in Cellars bar. The evening was hosted by Vivienne Franks, a world renowned Master of Wine. The girls enjoyed learning about all aspects of wine from production and grape varieties to identifying how to correctly taste the wine.
A few days later the UVI girls put on a show stopping canapé party. Using the skills they have picked up throughout their Leiths course, they whipped up sumptuous bites including freshly made cheese straws, Vietnamese summer rolls, beetroot and goat’s cheese oatcake bites, mini meringues and chocolate brownies to name but a few. They did exceptionally well and it was all served beautifully, and on time! Well done, girls.
