All of our state-of-the art sport facilities are available for hire in York. QM’s grounds have played host to regional and national sporting finals, international teacher training courses and several public events accommodating over 1,000 competitors and spectators.

We offer excellent sporting facilities that are available to let on a one-off or regular basis.

Outdoor Sport Facilities For Hire

  • AstroTurf

A brand new 100 x 60 yard all-weather pitch suitable for Hockey or Football with half and third pitch size bookings available.

  • Six Outdoor Tennis Courts

Hard court surface, additional indoor court available in the Sports Hall all year and additional outdoor courts available on the AstroTurf during the Summer Term.

  • Six Outdoor Netball Courts

With hard court surface and additional indoor court available in the Sports Hall all year.

  • 72 Acres of Grass

Available for Lacrosse, Hockey and Rounders pitches and 400m Athletics Track during the Summer Term.

Indoor Sport Facilities For Hire

  • Indoor Heated 25m, Six Lane Swimming Pool

With male and female changing rooms and showers.

  • Sports Hall

With floor markings for Badminton, Basketball, Netball and Tennis.

  • Two Glass-Back Squash Courts

  • The Queen Margaret's Riding School

A British Horse Society approved Riding School located on campus.
