Daily Physical Challenge
#StayHome #StayActive
The Government advice to stay at home hasn’t stopped QM girls finding new and effective ways of staying active and healthy over the past few days.
It’s been really incredible to see how innovative the girls can be when it comes to keeping their activity levels up despite the change in circumstances they find themselves in.
The QM Sport Department has set the girls a Daily Physical Challenge from which they can select various appropriate bodyweight and cardio exercises to do at home, depending on their year group. The girls are encouraged to log their daily activity so they can track their progress and will be assessed and rewarded for their improvements when they return to School.
Many new external resources have also become available in light of the current guidance to stay at home. The girls are enjoying participating in initiatives such as the daily 09:00 PE sessions on YouTube with Joe Wicks, and we’ve loved seeing pictures and videos of the girls engaging in these activities. Keep it up!
