QM GCSE Business Competition
Dragon's Den Competition
Published 26th November 2021
The Year IV GCSE Business students have taken part in a 'Dragon's Den' Competition today!
The brief was to come up with a new product aimed at teenage girls. The groups came up with a diverse range of solutions, from recycled jewellery through to personal safety.
The girls showed great focus whilst undertaking this project, and they presented their ideas in an enthusiastic and confident manner to our very own judging panel.
Just like in the real Dragon's Den, we had a very perceptive and astute panel of judges, including QM's Chairman of the Board of Governors, Terry Burt, Assistant Head - School Improvement, Claire Rhodes, and two Upper Sixth Business Students, Anna and Tory.
Despite the pressure, the standard of the presentations was very high, and the judges had a difficult decision choosing a winner.
In the end, they chose two winners: Exhale - a women-only gym targeted at teenage girls; and Just add Dazzle - a DIY jewellery making shop.
Well done to all the girls involved!
