Rhinos Challenge Netball Weekender

Last weekend, many of our girls and Sports staff had an action-packed couple of days playing netball and taking part in lots of fun activities!

Here's a review from Miss Bale...

Fourteen girls, Mrs Rastall, Miss Hagan and I set off on Friday afternoon for the long-anticipated Leeds Rhinos Netball Challenge Weekender!

Arriving and getting settled quickly into the accommodation, we had no time to chill as we headed straight for Splash Waterworld where we enjoyed the slides and pools for a few hours. Following on from supper, we then headed to watch some entertainment - having fun whilst waiting for the show to start, we did a catwalk amongst other games.

On Saturday we had an early wake-up ready for our morning of Netball. Playing 5 games in total per team, we were certainly ready for lunch at the beach. We then headed back for even more fun at the funfair, a Bruno Mars tribute act, and then another hour at the fair! It's safe to say we all slept well on Saturday!

We had 4 matches on Sunday and a later start to these games which was very welcomed! Certainly showing improvement in our Netball on the second day, we played a further three matches before heading back for one last trip to the fair before a presentation with the Leeds Rhinos Captain and coach.
