Saturday 18th March

NETBALL: U12 Netball Y&D tournament

Player of the Match: Akousua and Louise

The U12s started out well in the Y&D tournament with some excellent play down the court, winning all but one game in their pool stages.

They got through to the semi-final where, unfortunately, they were beaten, but they still earned themselves a very respectable 3rd place.

NETBALL: U14 Netball vs St Peter's

Player of the Match: Isabel (III), Celia (III)

Score: Win 24-12

It was an incredibly close match against St Peter's, and then along came the torrential rain. With the scores level at halftime, the girls were still keen to play. Celia and Isabel played a great game at GD, making valuable interceptions which were quickly converted to goals. The rain never stopped, but this didn't stop QM from winning the game 24-12.

Thursday 23rd March

Senior Invitational Netball Tournament

The girls started strong for their final tournament of the season. Taking an easy win in their first pool match, the team worked cohesively and got the ball well down the court. They then faced some tougher matches and weren't as successful, however, they continued to demonstrate great team work.

Some tears on the court after the final game as we said goodbye to our UVI players who will be greatly missed next year.
