Theatre For French Language Students
French Theatre at QM
Published 2nd February 2022
QM was delighted to welcome back Onatti Productions for a brilliant live performance of "Mon Père Ne Me Comprend Pas".
Presented by professional French actors Baptise and Julie, the play was enjoyed by all girls in Years I-V that study French, as well as several members of staff. Year IV GCSE Drama students also got to learn more about how to communicate with an audience without relying on language alone.
Onatti Productions makes plays and films exclusively for young people learning foreign languages. The language is delivered clearly, and the script contains lots of words and phrases which language students will have come across in class.
Our students and staff really enjoyed the performance, including its clever use of technology and funny story. The actors Baptise and Julie stayed afterwards for a quick Q+A to help the girls understand some of the trickier parts of the story.
We will be welcoming Onatti again very soon on 18th February for a Spanish performance, so watch this space.

To add to the French feeling, our Catering Team went above and beyond once again, with a wonderful French-inspired lunchtime menu and decorations. Thank you!
