Riding News
QM's equestrian team have a big challenge at the end of half term, as they are due to compete in the National Schools NSEA Arena Eventing and Show Jumping Championships at Belsay on 31st May.
We wish them every success and look forward to hearing all about it!

Saturday 18th May 2024
Tennis vs. Ashville College
Score: U15 won 8-4, U14 lost 4-8, U13 won 5-3, U12 won 5-3.
Report: Congratulations to all our tennis players. With 32 girls competing away at Ashville on a beautiful sunny day, it felt like competing for the Championships at Wimbledon. It is wonderful to see everyone improving and enjoying the doubles matches, followed by afternoon tea. A traditional summer Saturday.
Tennis vs Ampleforth
Score: U18 lost 3-6, U15 lost 4-5, U14 lost 4-5.
Report: Some extremely close matches for all our teams, with several matches at deuce where the next point decided the game. There were matches tied at 5-5: winning or losing on just one point. Well played everyone, and it was lovely to see 18 students representing the school.

U15 LTA Youth Schools Tennis vs St Peter's
Report: The team of Jemima, Celia, Poppy, and Isabel (Year IV) played in the singles and doubles competition against St Peter's. All played singles first showing excellent play in very close matches, and found themselves 3-1 down. Moving on to the doubles, the matches were again very close, losing 7-5 and 6-4, resulting in a 5-1 loss. The players should be proud of their attitude and sportsmanship on court, rising to the challenge.
