Friends of Queen Margaret's

Providing a parental perspective on matters arising, the Friends of Queen Margaret's are a point of contact for fellow parents. The group instigates and supports QM fundraising and social events, forging friendships across the QM community.

Parents play a vital role in the QM community. Each girl's journey through the school is unique and we thank our parents for their ongoing support and encouragement. Whether playing an active part in the FoQMs or simply being the backbone for our girls as they navigate their way through the years at QM and transition into wonderful, confident and articulate women, this support is greatly valued and appreciated.

We welcome parents into the QM community and look forward to a long and lasting relationship with them as they join the QM Family.

Events

The FoQMs organise and support a wide range of events at QM - from the Burns Night Ceilidh to the annual Quiz and Curry night.

'Pre-Loved' Uniform Shop

Donations of 'pre-loved' uniform are always welcome. Keep an eye on social media and the Weekly Window for opening times or email uniform@queenmaragrets.com.

Contact Us

School leaders keep well informed of pupils’ and parents' views, taking them into account when making decisions on the curriculum, such as the introduction of Computer Science. Pupil input led to the creation of a new study facility, ‘The 2022 Room’, much appreciated by Sixth Form pupils.
