Year V Leavers - 2023

“Wednesday was the final day of GCSE exams for Year V, which could only mean one thing - party time! The students all dressed up for photos and drinks at Winnie’s before heading to Escrick Social Club. Starting off the evening we had the Funny Awards, where each girl was given an award reflecting their year. We then headed outside for more photos before tucking into some lovely food provided by the Social Club. Living up to her award, Pippa soon got the party started with some karaoke and dancing. We also had our ‘Guess the Baby’ challenge and the opportunity to vote for the ‘Most Likely to Be…’ awards. Finishing the night with a spot of the conga and hokey-cokey, both students and staff had a lovely evening.

I would like to thank the house staff for all their help setting up, the Social Club for the use of the venue and lovely food, also Mrs Waite for the use of the chair covers and sashes. Finally, a big thank you from all the staff in Winnie’s - a memorable evening and a huge congratulations on making it through the exams!”
