Introducing the Deputy Head Girl Lucinda Addy

I’m Lucinda and I am very excited to be one of the Deputy Head Girls this year. Having joined in the first year, this will be my 7th year at QM!

I’m currently studying Music, Classics and Philosophy & Ethics. As a clarinettist, my main passion lies with music and I hope to study it at degree level. Because of this, I’m an active member of all the music enrichment activities, namely: orchestra, wind band, the barbershop quartet, and I’m also fortunate to be this year’s Head Chorister of our Chapel Choir. Some of my favourite moments at QM have included performing at our annual Funk/Soul gig as a member of our band ‘The Lost Sock’.

Though I like many aspects of QM, I particularly love how the school offers such a diverse range of enrichment activities, tailoring each club to suit/benefit every member of the QM community.

As a Deputy Head Girl, I would like to help maintain a positive school atmosphere by acting as a good spokesperson during our weekly prefect meetings, delivering feedback/ideas on behalf of the other students.
