Resident Senior Sister

Queen Margaret’s is an award-winning independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18. The school is located in a glorious parkland setting on the edge of a village on the outskirts of York.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to lead and manage our School nursing team at our Centre for Health and Wellbeing in the provision of  a clinically effective, high quality service for our girls and other members of our community.

Catering Assistant

The School Catering Department operates throughout the year and catering services are provided from early morning until late in the evening seven days a week. Catering Assistants are required throughout those hours.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to perform front of house duties, dealing with all aspects of food delivery. From the point that food is ready to leave the kitchen, assist in the preparation and service of the front of house area for food delivery and with the maintenance of standards in the food itself and in keeping the dining and catering area clean and tidy at all times.

Nurse

We wish to recruit a School Nurse, working an average of 24 or 48 hours per week on a rotating roster, to provide a clinically effective, high quality service of nursing care to pupils and, with others to provide first aid care to all members of the School community.

The successful candidate will have a calm, professional and caring approach, be willing to work flexible hours and have a genuine love for nursing. A registered Nurse with at least 12 months post registration experience required.
