School Scholars

On Friday we were delighted to welcome back two Old Margaretians who left QM last year; Izzie Wilcox and Olivia Hamilton. Izzie and Olivia are both currently studying Music at Durham University and they returned to present one of our regular Scholars' Talks.

Their talk was entitled Class and Gender in Italian Opera. Izzie and Olivia are studying six modules as part of their degree course but their talk focused on one module in particular - Historical Studies. The session was of particular interest to our current girls who are thinking about studying Music and Theatre Studies after school, it was also a great opportunity for them to ask questions about life after QM and at Durham University.
