Published 12th January 2024
After five years as Head of Queen Margaret's School for Girls, Sue Baillie will become Head of Woldingham School in September 2024. Woldingham is another prestigious all-girls’ school in Surrey; Sue's appointment is a significant personal achievement, and we wish her the very best in her new role.
Sue joined QM just before the pandemic, which presented extraordinary and unique challenges, not only for QM, but all schools. She has shown unwavering dedication and commitment to the school in leading us through this challenging time, for which we sincerely thank her. Sue will remain completely committed to the advancement of the interests of QM until she leaves us at the end of the academic year.
As the 'Small Independent School of the Year', QM is now ready for the next phase of its growth and development. This award is a significant landmark for QM, and it is the foundation from which we will look to recruit a high calibre, inspirational and dynamic Head who will lead us in delivering our aspirations and vision for growth.
