Weekend Activities
Published 24th May 2022
This weekend, boarding activities had a jubilee-them all around as the girls enjoyed games, tasty food, and karaoke outdoors.
Duncan House Community Weekend
For the Duncan Community Weekend, Duncan House Captain, Olympia (UVI) elected to do a jubilee street party which was a great success! All who were in for the weekend really enjoyed it and got stuck in with the games.
We were treated to live 'Best of British' music and some even delighted us with questionable karaoke!
When not up and dancing, the girls enjoyed lawn games such as giant Jenga, giant Snakes and Ladders, and croquet.
Miss Capponi did an excellent job arranging individual snack boxes for all involved, which contained the truly British scones and jam.
The Queen and her corgis were present and thoroughly approved of the day!
Unfortunately, we had no sun but the day was warm and the rain stayed away so it was a great success overall.

More Jubilee celebrations
During the same weekend, Red House also celebrated with a 'Jubilee Jamboree', while years III & IV also joined in with Jubilee celebrations.
Our very own queen made an appearance and greeted her royal subjects.
There were lots of tasty treats on offer.
The girls had fun with karaoke, games, and dancing...
...including the very apt 'pin the tail on the corgi'!
Year V
Coming away from the Jubilee theme, on Saturday evening Year V relaxed with a homemade pizza and movie night.
