Mrs Viant, Head of Mathematics, created a brilliant challenge for QM students during the festive holiday.

With a video tutorial, she demonstrated how to make your own Fractal Card.

What is a fractal?

A fractal is a pattern that keeps repeating across every scale of magnification.

Fractals are created by repeating a simple process over and over again.

Nature is full of fractals! You'll find them in trees, coastlines, rivers, mountains, seashells, clouds, and much more.

Mrs Viant's Fractal Card has a similar result to the Sierpinski triangle.
