Annual Art Exhibition and Concert

Pitlochry Art & Music Evening

Published Monday 24th January 2022.

Last week, Pitlochry House held its now-traditional Art Exhibition and Concert.

Here's a write up from Lara (UVI).

On Friday the 21st of January, Pitlochry hosted their annual House Concert and Exhibition. Having had to cancel last year’s event due to COVID, the whole House was very excited to showcase their talents in an event that has become synonymous with Pitlochry.

With not just one, but two new year groups to initiate into what is one of the highlights of the school calendar for many, there was excitement buzzing in all year groups.

A buzzing evening at the Pitlochry Art & Music Evening
The atmosphere was buzzing.

The quality of the entries this year was superb; all the girls who have put work up should be extremely proud and the competition was fierce.

Not only a chance to display artistic talent, the concert also offers all the musicians a chance to exhibit their skills with a range of instruments played throughout the House, such as piano and violin, ensuring that this is always a night to remember.

We thank all the girls for their amazing contributions, in the form of both music and art, and the true star of the show Mrs Stewart for organizing all the art and making sure everything ticked over smoothly!

Congratulations to the winning girls Megan (Year II), Lydia (Year V), and Bellatrix (LVI) for your brilliant work!
