One of our Year IV girls, Lucinda has demonstrated brilliant resilience and determination in this virtual world by winning a place with the National Children’s Concert Band of Great Britain by submitting a digital audition.
It was wonderful to hear the news that the National Children’s Concert Band of Great Britain have accepted one of our Year IV girls, Lucinda. With past and present students in the National Children’s Orchestra and National Youth Choir of Great Britain, this is another example of our Scholars working at a calibre in line with the highest standards nationally.
The National Children’s Concert Band is an exciting and challenging group for wind, brass and percussion for players aged 11-18. Lucinda has shown amazing resilience adapting to a digital audition this year and for a school of our size, this is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic girls and our Music Department.
