UVI Dinner 2024
Published 6th December 2024
Head Girl Harriet told us about the fantastic UVI drinks and dinner on Tuesday night:
“Tuesday evening was a truly festive occasion as the Upper Sixth gathered for their Christmas dinner and carol singing—a cherished QM tradition. The Housekeeping team surpassed all expectations, transforming Wenlock into a Winter Wonderland, while the Catering team treated everyone to a delicious dinner.
It was lovely to have all our tutors and house staff join in the celebrations, adding to the special atmosphere of the evening. Although our year group may be small, we showed we were mighty with a spirited round of carol singing to wrap things up. That said, our vocal talents were humorously overshadowed when the staff treated us to a group solo of the first verse of ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’!
A particularly nostalgic moment came when the younger Warwick House girls were spotted peeking through a small crack in the doors, reminding us of our own time at their age. It’s hard to believe this is our final Christmas at QM. Still, it was a wonderful evening filled with joy and friendship—one we will all treasure for years to come.”
