I am currently studying Chemistry, Maths, and Biology for my A Levels, and hope to be able to study Veterinary Medicine when I graduate, as I am an animal lover and have an avid interest in this field.
Being at QM has morphed me into a better version of myself, I have become more willing to step out of my comfort zone and to try new things. Before joining the School, I was a competitive swimmer and a keen rugby player, and was adamant that I was only going to play these two sports for the rest of my life. However, after seeing how much fun everyone else was having with extra curricular activities, I wanted to join in on the fun as well. I thought that it would be a shame if I didn’t make the most of the opportunities that the School had to offer, and so I decided to try out a different sport - Netball, and have since developed a passion for it. I also took part in the senior production of Beauty and the Beast, which allowed me to integrate and form friendships with girls beyond my year group.
I feel privileged to have been chosen to be the first ever Deputy Head Girl for Inclusion. To me, inclusion means that all people, regardless of their age, race, religious background, or sexual orientation, have the right to be respected and heard. My goal is to make sure that every girl feels included, and that their opinions are voiced during their time at QM. I look forward to working with the other prefects to make a positive impact on the School.
