My name is Casey, and I am an overseas student. I joined QM in Year 3 from a local school in Hong Kong. Being at this school has helped me build my confidence and step out of my comfort zone because teachers and friends are very supportive.
I am studying Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics for my A-level subjects, and hope to study Biomedical Science in university after I graduate as I really enjoy science and doing experiments.
Other than academics, I am a swimmer and badminton player. Being in a senior team allowed me to have a friendship group with girls in a lower year group. QM also offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as Duke of Edinburgh and Lifeguard, for which I have already passed the Lifeguard exam last year. These activities have allowed me to take new skills with me when I graduate from school.
As it is my final year in QM, I am excited and honored to be Deputy Head Girl (Inclusion) and to work with Emily, Nancy, Millie, and Lauren. Because of Covid, girls may feel distant from each other. My goal is to make sure that all girls feel like a part of the school and are happy to share their voices, no matter if they are physically in school or on QM connect,
Casey Wong
Deputy Head (Inclusion)
