Queen Margaret's is an award-winning all-girls day and boarding school in an idyllic countryside setting where every girl can thrive. We were named Small Independent School of the Year in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2023, and have recently achieved the School Mental Health Gold Award from the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools. Our girls are nurtured with all the support, tuition and inspiration they need to become happy and successful women of tomorrow. Our flexible Bespoke Boarding offering means girls can join as day students or choose to board from 1-7 nights a week.

Scholarship Announcement 2023-24

To celebrate being named Small Independent School of the Year, Queen Margaret’s School for Girls is awarding more Scholarships than ever before to students joining in September 2024. QM offers Academic, Sport, Art, Drama, Music, Choral and Dance Scholarships. As a result of the increased number of Scholarships available this year, two Scholarship Days are being held; one on Wednesday 24th January and one on Thursday 21st March 2024.
