A Virtual Introduction to Main School at Queen Margaret's

Virtual Visit Years I-V (7-11)

Despite the unprecedented times we have everything you need for your admissions journey - enjoy a virtual glimpse of Years I-V (7-11) and get a feel for what a QM education might look like for your daughter.

In a world before Covid, if you were visiting QM for an Open Day, the first thing we’d do is invite you in for a chat over coffee and fresh pastries made by our fantastic Catering Team. So, although we can’t hold our usual face to face Open Days at Escrick Park just at the moment, why not pop the kettle on and enjoy having a look around below? Once you’ve got to know us a little better, be sure to fill out the form with your details so we can arrange a one-to-one virtual chat with our Head, Sue Baillie, as well as any other members of the QM Family you may wish to meet.

Find out what makes Queen Margaret's so special from Head, Sue Baillie…

The next thing we’d invite you to do on Open Day is explore our spectacular grounds and facilities. You’ll never forget the first time you drive through the QM gates – set in 75 acres of stunning parkland, take a glance at the superb facilities which await you…

Academic Deputy, Claire Rhodes, talks about the wide choice of subjects offered at GCSE and A Level, QM's track record of academic success and the calibre of teaching and personal tutor system available at the School.

QM girls perform brilliantly in their academic examinations, but they also develop their individual talents and passions outside of the classroom through our outstanding and inclusive enrichment programme. This glimpse of our Chamber Choir in action is indicative of the high standards the girls apply to every opportunity they have, be it in Music, Art, Sport or Dance…

Of course, the very best way to find out what its really like to be part of the QM Family is to hear it from the girls themselves. Hear from Harriet, our former Head Girl and Georgina, Year III, as they share an insight into their personal QM experiences...

Whether they are at Escrick Park or learning remotely via our digital platform, QM Connect, each term brings an array of wonderful academic and enrichment opportunities for our girls. See a snapshot of what they got up to last term in this digital summer edition of Q Magazine - A Term in Pictures.

There is a strong sense of community fostered at QM, with the older girls taking responsibility to act as role models to the younger ones and the supportive roles they adopt often develop into lifelong friendships.
