QM Musician of the Year

This week the girls have enjoyed competing for the coveted title of QM Musician of the Year. Taking part in a series of Intermediate and Elementary competitions, the competition drew to an exciting finale last night in The Chapel in front of the QM Family.

Esteemed colleague Mr Andrew Wheeler, Director of Music at Leeds Grammar School was the judge and he crowned Lucinda Addy, Year II as the overall Elementary Winner. Emily Unsworth, UVI won the overall Intermediate winner title. Both received their trophies and performed once more for the audience.

When announcing the coveted QM Musician of the Year title, Mr Wheeler commented that the winner ‘delivered a fully committed performance from the very first note’. Amy Coates, UVI was announced winner and was fully deserved of the title.
