A Sweet Start to the Year
Year I and II girls enjoyed a sweet start to the School year when they attempted to solve the mysterious death of the Swiss born chocolatier ‘Lotte Smartys’ in York. The girls were separated into three groups with their tutors and House staff to try and establish who the murderer was. They worked out the clues using the historic buildings, signs and points of interest which took them all over York city centre. The groups even took a detour into the Fudge Kitchen to watch (and definitely not sample) how fudge is made before they found themselves in the Shambles where they identified Fred o’ Frogg as the murderer and each gained a certificate for such great detective work.
