‘I very much enjoyed meeting with a selection of old, present and future parents as well as some members of staff and of course the girls. It was an extremely warm and welcoming evening. Very well done to the girls who spoke and sang. I particularly enjoyed talking to the girls about their school experiences and their future plans for life after QM. It is so good to see that the School continues to go from strength to strength. Oh to be young again!’

OM, Ruth Wood, appears in Phil Spencer’s ‘Stately Homes’
A documentary about Castle Howard, featuring OM Ruth Wood, has aired on More4. During the filming of the programme, Phil Spencer was given an extensive guided tour and he was keen to hear about the fire at one of the most celebrated stately homes in Britain.
