Many of the main roles were shared by two girls over the four performances which took place from Wednesday 23rd to Saturday 26th June. A great deal of hard work and boundless enthusiasm came together under the direction of Mrs Whitcombe and the musical direction of Mr Bowyer to create a fantastic show enjoyed by all who saw it. We were pleased to welcome new girls who will be joining QM in September and children from local primary schools to the Thursday matinee.

The final performance on Saturday 26th June was a particulary special occasion attended by Dr & Mrs Chapman. Dr Chapman retired as Headmaster of QM last summer and Mrs Chapman was QM's Director of Drama for many years. They had been invited back to come and formally name the theatre as The Chapman Theatre, in recognition of their enormous contribution to life at QM. They thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and complimented the girls on their excellent performances.
